Essential information:

• International Drivers licence is required for all visitors from overseas with a non-English license. We advise this licence is obtained prior to travelling to Australia
• Must be over 21 years of age to hire a vehicle in the Top End
• A credit card is required for the nominated driver to make any bookings
• Rates are charged in 24 hour blocks for car hire and one calendar day for camper vans and motor homes
• Minimum 5 or 7 day hire for campervans and motor homes
• Some rental suppliers do not provide Sunday drop off as they are closed – please call us for assistance
• Remote driving terms and conditions apply, e.g. a sunset to sunrise clause. Please contact us for details
• A fee may be incurred for airport pick up and drop off and one way car hire
• No hire vehicles are permitted to Twin Falls roads in Kakadu National Park – access the falls via an organised tour (please call us 1300 138 886 to organise this for you)
• Permits are required for Arnhem Land – you will need to be organised before you apply and know the dates and length of visit etc
• During the planning stage please refer to the Road Report NT to check road conditions to stay informed
