Darwin Frocktails'

If you're a sewing and fabric tragic, this is your event! Back for the 3rd time, we celebrate the act of sewing our own fabulous outfits and the gorgeous fabric from which these are made. This year our optional theme is 'Embellish'.

Frocktails is a worldwide series of autonomous events run entirely by volunteers to celebrate home sewing with like-minded people. Every Frocktails event is different.

At Darwin Frocktails 2024 you will meet other people who share your interests, see some wonderful outfits, share your sewing experiences and mishaps, and have the opportunity to show off your own outfit on our runway.

Doors open at 5:30pm just in time for a welcome drink, a glorious Darwin sunset, and local musician at the Darwin Ski Club.

A bar and a food van will be available inside the Frocktails area, immediately in front of the main stage.

Darwin Frocktails is only possible because of the work of our volunteer committee and the generous support of our sponsors. If you enjoy Darwin Frocktails 2024 please consider becoming a member. Membership perks include having a say in Frocktails 2025, advance notice of Frocktails workshops and discounted workshops tickets. The first 25 members can also book a Frocktails table for themselves and up to nine (9) of their ticketed friends.
