The Darwin Ski Club is the home of the Northern Territory Water Ski Association and is ideally situated in Conacher Street in Fannie Bay, directly opposite the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory.
The Ski Club is a well-known Darwin icon and has been located at one of the most beautiful positions on Darwin Harbour for 50 years. The Club has recently undergone some major refurbishments with a brand new Bali Bar, kitchen and amenities block completed in late 2010. The outdoor "Bali Bar" is open from 12 noon each day (except Good Friday and Christmas Day) and is a great place to relax, enjoy a cold drink and a delicious meal from the bistro whilst watching one of Darwin's spectacular sunsets.
Our kitchen is open every day from midday to late, serving delectable meals at reasonable prices to cater for the whole family.
The Darwin Ski Club is family friendly and has huge grassed area for children to play, two crystal clear salt water pools (one for toddlers) that are available for members and guests to use. We even welcome yours dogs, although they must be on leads at all times.
Membership fees are kept low so that everyone has the opportunity to join the Northern Territory Water Ski Association and enjoy the fantastic benefits of being a member of the Darwin Ski Club
One of the Club's main aims is to make the Darwin Ski Club's premises a community hub for all water-based sports in the Darwin region. Regular water sports are organised including water-skiing and wakeboarding with other sporting clubs based at the Club, including outrigger canoeing & scuba diving. We even have a large boat park for members who wish to store their boat in a secure area conveniently located near a boat ramp.
Each Friday and Sunday night there is live music from various local and interstate bands.
ATM and EFTPOS facilities are available.
The Ski Club is also an Internode Internet Hotspot.
