Description

Paspaley produces the rarest and most valuable pearls in the world. An Australian, family-owned and run company, in 2015 Paspaley proudly celebrated an 80 year pearling heritage.

Sourced from the pristine waters off Australia’s north-west coast, Paspaley’s Australian South Sea pearls emerge from the wild Pinctada maxima oyster with a lustrous glow, just as nature intended.

Paspaley’s Darwin boutique is located at Shop 6, 27 The Mall, in the heart of the central business district. The boutique showcases Paspaley’s fine pearl jewellery collections ranging from elegant everyday designs to bespoke one-of-a-kind pieces.

News

Discover Paspaley’s latest collection Maxima, drawing inspiration from their early beginnings, these exclusive designs have been created with Australian mother-of-pearl, authentic to Paspaley.

Australian mother-of-pearl is sourced from the Pinctada maxima oyster. The largest of all pearl producing oysters, this shell is unrivalled in rarity, quality, nacre thickness, natural lustre and value.

Each piece of mother-of-pearl has been hand carved by Paspaley’s expert pearl graders using the same stringent principals used to grade Australian South Sea pearls. The flawless mother-of-pearl selected for Maxima exudes rainbow overtones, each piece displaying exceptional lustre and refracting the light every angle, providing a striking iridescent effect.

Maxima looks at different ways that jewellery can be worn on the body - between the fingers or casually draped over day or evening wear, ultimately appealing to women who want to find freedom in the way they wear their jewels.
