Nitmiluk Gorge is the centrepiece of Nitmiluk National Park, and comprises a system of 13 immense gorges carved over the millennia by the Katherine River through the ancient stone country of the region. More than a location of beautiful landscapes, the gorges hold great cultural value for the Jawoyn people. For these traditional owners, Nitmiluk refers to a cicada dreaming place – the place where the spirits of creation abide.
CICADA LODGE:
Where a booking has been made and confirmed with Cicada Lodge and is subsequently cancelled the following refund policy shall apply:
• More than thirty (30) days prior to check-in: FULL REFUND
• Between thirty (30) days and fourteen (14) days prior to check-in: 50% REFUND/ CHARGE
• Less than fourteen (14) days prior to check-in: NO REFUND/ 100% CHARGE
TOURISM TOP END:
Cancellations after booking confirmation will attract a 12.5% administration fee.
AMENDMENTS: An amendment fee of $25.00 will be charged per itinerary change.
CANCELLATIONS: Cancellation of bookings made using the Territory Tourism Voucher will incur a 10% administration fee calculated on the total booking cost. Operator cancellation fees are in addition to Tourism Top End's cancellation fee.
INSURANCE: Customers may wish to consider purchasing appropriate travel insurance to cover cancellation and amendment fees. CREDIT CARD FEES: Credit card fees are not refundable.
REFUNDS: If you are entitled to a refund, it will be processed as quickly as possible. This is generally within 14 days, however, in some circumstances it may take longer.
