1. Robin Falls

The falls are reached by taking a short walk following a crystal clear creek through scenic bush surrounds. The area around the falls is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna unique to the Top End region. This is the idyllic spot to get away from the crowds and enjoy a cooling swim.
2. Adelaide River War Memorial and Civil Cemetery

The war cemetery marks the final resting place of 434 Australian, British and Canadian service men and women who lost their lives in the Top End during World War II. The central memorial is dedicated to 287 service personnel who were lost in Timor and the northern regions, who have no known resting place. The cemetery is maintained by staff of the Office of Australian War Graves. The War Cemetery adjoins the Civil Cemetery where 63 civilians including 31 Aboriginal people are buried. Among the civilians are nine Post Office workers who lost their lives on 19 February 1942 in the bombing of Darwin.

You can spend as little as one day in the park, taking a quick dip in each of the plunge pools and rockholes on the drive through, but to really experience the true beauty of Litchfield it’s best to stay at least two days. The crystal-clear swimming holes and pleasant bushwalking trails make this park a favourite among Darwin locals. Meals and refreshments are available inside the park at Wangi Falls and you can stay overnight at a number of places in and along the road to the park that offer campsites, cabins and caravans, or in the small township of Batchelor – the gateway to Litchfield. 6. Berry Springs Nature Reserve

Berry Springs Nature Park located just 60 kilometres south of Darwin is a favourite relaxation spot for locals and visitors alike. With two large spring-fed pools and a small waterfall fringed by pandanus and monsoon rainforest make for an ideal spot for leisurely barbecues, swimming and walking.
