Daytime tours of the exhibition run daily from 10am to 5pm
A Coral Reef by Night
Your evening begins at 7pm sharp with a detailed explanation of the coral reef eco-systems, followed by dinner. An entree of seafood noodle salad, then wild Barramundi in banana leaves, tender calamari, king prawns, oysters natural, fresh salads and herbed bread, quality table wines and beverages available. Finishing with a selection of locally grown exotic fruits. (Special dietary needs are catered for, need notification at time of booking). All this is served in our garden deck overlooking Darwin Harbour. After dinner we then return to the dispalys which are now in total darkness where you will witness the beauty of the fluorescing corals and animals. Then explore the nocturnal reef life with your own torch, in the dark.
In the DRY SEASON - (April - October) the exhibition is open daily from 10am to 3pm.
In the WET SEASON - (Nov - Mar) the exhibition is open 10am - 2pm (Mon - Fri), 10am - 2pm (Weekends & Public Holidays)
Closed: Good Friday, Christmas Day & New Years day.
Tours are conducted throughout the day. Bookings are not necessary for the day time. The Coral Reef By Night tour and dinner, operates on Tues, Wed, Fri & Sunday nights only. .
